🍤 Spring rolls with shrimp
Exotic, light, and crisp – perfect for dipping into soy sauce.
Ingredients (for 6 rolls)
- 6 rice paper sheets
- 12 cooked shrimp, peeled
- 1 avocado
- a handful of fresh sprouts
- a few cilantro or mint leaves (optional)
- soy sauce for dipping
Preparation
- Prep the ingredients: peel the shrimp; slice the avocado thinly; wash and dry sprouts and herbs.
- Rice papers: soak each sheet in warm water for 5–8 seconds until pliable. Place on a clean kitchen towel.
- Fill: in the center place 2 shrimp, avocado slices, some sprouts, and a herb leaf.
- Roll: fold the bottom over the filling, fold in the sides, then roll up tightly.
- Serve: fresh, with soy sauce on the side.
🥪 Mini Caprese bites
A quick savory snack that brings Caprese salad into mini form.
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- 1 small baguette
- 1 large tomato or a few cherry tomatoes
- 100 g mozzarella
- a few fresh basil leaves
- olive oil, salt, pepper
Preparation
- Slice the baguette and toast lightly in a pan or toaster.
- Top each slice with tomato and mozzarella.
- Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and finish with basil.
- Serve as mini Caprese bites.
🥭 Mango smoothie
A refreshing drink that adds energy and color to your mid-morning break.
Ingredients (for 2 glasses)
- 1 ripe mango
- 200 g plain yogurt
- 100 ml orange juice
- a few ice cubes
Preparation
- Peel the mango and cut into cubes.
- Blend mango, yogurt, juice, and ice until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
- Optional: add a squeeze of lime juice for extra freshness.
🍫 Chocolate coconut balls
A sweet little treat – no baking, ready in just minutes.
Ingredients (about 12 balls)
- 150 g crushed biscuits
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp condensed milk or melted chocolate
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut (for coating)
Preparation
- Mix biscuits, cocoa, and condensed milk (or melted chocolate) in a bowl.
- Shape into walnut-sized balls.
- Roll in shredded coconut.
- Chill for 30 minutes until firm.
