When you crave something simple, warm, and filling, pasta is always the answer. This time in a combination that never fails – tomato, cream, and a touch of Parmesan. It’s the kind of comfort food you can whip up in just 15 minutes and enjoy on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. A cozy dish that everyone loves.
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
-
200 g pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, fusilli – whatever you have)
-
1 can (400 g) chopped tomatoes
-
2 cloves garlic
-
1 onion
-
200 ml cooking cream
-
salt, pepper, dried basil to taste
-
butter
-
fresh Parmesan, grated
Instructions
-
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Salt it generously and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
-
Meanwhile, melt a little butter in a pan. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant – don’t let it burn.
-
Pour in the canned tomatoes, stir, and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Stir in the cream, season with salt, pepper, and dried basil. Let it cook for another minute so the flavors meld together.
-
Drain the pasta and transfer it to the pan with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta cooking water. Mix well to coat.
-
Serve immediately, topped with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan.
For an extra twist, toss in a handful of fresh spinach or some crispy pancetta before serving.
🔥 The result? Creamy, rich pasta that combines simplicity with perfect flavor. The ultimate comfort food to brighten your day.
